Calendar Setup & Availability
Use the Calendar module to define your business hours, slot length, booking rules, and blackout dates (holidays/vacations). Once configured, the calendar will only allow bookings inside your available schedule.

Open the Calendar
Left sidebar options
Date mini-calendar
Use the mini calendar to jump or move to any day quickly.
My Calendars

Enable/disable a calendar to show/hide it in the main view.

Use the + icon to add another calendar (Holidays, Birthdays, Marketing, Dr. John Smith, Jane Doe, PhD, and more as needed ).

Use the ⋯ (three dots) menu for additional calendar actions as configuration, show on the view, or default color.
Scheduled Messages (visibility)
Toggle Scheduled Messages to show or hide all scheduled messages in the calendar view.

Blocked dates (holidays/vacation)
General Settings (Calendar Configuration)
Calendar Name
Choose a clear name so your team can identify this calendar easily.
Calendar color
Pick a color from the palette or choose a Custom color.
Default Slot Duration (minutes)
Sets how long each appointment slot is (example: 30 minutes).
Slots Per Booking
Sets how many consecutive slots are booked at once.

Example: 30-minute slot + 2 slots per booking = 60-minute appointment
Default SMS Phone Number
Select the phone number that will be used to send appointment confirmations and reminders (when enabled).
✅ Click Save General Settings.
Weekly Availability (Business Hours)
Weekly Availability controls when your calendar is bookable.
Active vs Closed days

Active: the day can accept bookings
-
Closed: no bookings allowed unless you add availability blocks
Add or edit time blocks
Each day can have one or more time blocks (example: Morning and Afternoon).

Edit (pencil): change the time range

Delete (trash): remove a block
-
+ Add: add another block (split shifts, lunch breaks, etc.)
Quick setup tools
On the left side, you may see:

Quick Availability Setup Wizard (guided setup)

Add Availability (manual setup)
-
Copy Day Availability (duplicate a day’s schedule)
Blocked Dates (Holidays / Vacation)
Use Blocked Dates to prevent bookings on specific dates.

Pick a date.
-
Click Block Date.
Optional:
-
Click Add Common Holidays to automatically add standard holidays.

Good to know
-
Set Weekly Availability first, then use Blocked Dates for exceptions (holidays, vacations, closures).

If bookings aren’t working as expected, confirm:

The correct calendar is selected and visible in My Calendars

The day is Active
-
Availability blocks exist for that day
-
The date is not listed under Blocked Dates
-
You aren’t filtering the view with Show only this calendar

Try it
-

Set Default Slot Duration to 30 minutes and click Save General Settings.

Add Monday–Friday availability (example: 9–1 and 2–6).

Create a second calendar (example: Marketing) from the Business Calendars Dashboard.

Use the ⋯ menu → Show only this calendar to confirm filtering works.

Block an upcoming holiday and verify it cannot be booked.
