Booking Pages: Let Customers Book Themselves

A booking page is a link that shows your available times and lets customers pick one, with the appointment landing in your calendar. This guide covers creating one, the limits and buffers worth setting from day one, sharing or embedding the link, and running several pages at once.

Let customers book themselves

A booking page is a link you can share that shows your available times and lets someone pick one. It works with or without Google, and the appointment lands in your Zonitel calendar.

It replaces the back-and-forth of agreeing a time by phone, and it works while your office is closed.

Create a booking page

  1. In the left sidebar, expand Settings and click Calendars Config.
  2. Open Settings on the calendar you want.
  3. Go to the Booking Pages tab and click New booking page.
  4. Enter a Service name β€” the only required field.
  5. Choose the Appointment duration, from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
  6. Under General availability, check the days you accept bookings and set the hours. These are pre-filled from the calendar, so you only adjust what differs.
  7. Set Published if it should start accepting bookings.
  8. Click Save & get link.

The page then appears in the list with its link, ready to Copy link or Embed on your website.

The advanced settings

Open Advanced (limits, branding) for the controls that keep self-booking sensible:

  • Minimum notice (hours) β€” stops someone booking in ten minutes' time.
  • Maximum days in advance β€” keeps your diary from filling months ahead.
  • Buffer before and Buffer after β€” minutes of breathing room around each appointment.
  • Max bookings / day β€” a ceiling on how much a page can take.
  • Confirmation message β€” what they see after booking.
  • Notification email β€” get an email with a calendar invite each time someone books. Leave it empty to skip.
  • Reminder template β€” the SMS reminder schedule applied to every booking from this page.
  • Brand color.

The three worth setting on day one are minimum notice, buffers and a reminder template. Without notice and buffers you get bookings you cannot honour; without reminders you get no-shows.

Sharing it

  • Copy link and put it in your email signature, your text replies and your social profiles.
  • Embed it on your website so people book without leaving the page.
  • Send it in reply to β€œwhen are you free?” instead of listing times.

More than one page

You can create several pages on the same calendar β€” one per service, each with its own duration, hours and limits. A 15-minute consultation and a 90-minute appointment can take bookings from the same diary without colliding.
