Why Are No Booking Times Available?

Why Are No Booking Times Available?

Follow a practical checklist for missing booking times: calendar hours, closures, capacity, appointment length and booking-link limits.

Use this checklist when a customer cannot find a booking time or a time offered by one link is missing from another. Begin with the exact date, calendar and booking link involved. Change one relevant setting at a time and recheck the same customer link.

1. Identify where the time is missing

Confirm the location in Office and the calendar behind the link. Compare the expected date and time zone. If the problem is only that an existing event is not visible in Calendar, first check My Calendars and the date; that is different from a customer being unable to reserve.

2. Check the calendar’s hours and closures

Open Settings → Calendars Config → the calendar’s settings → Availability.

  • Check that the required weekday has an active range covering the intended time.
  • Review split shifts or breaks between ranges.
  • Check Blocked Dates for the date involved.
  • Review each range’s duration and capacity overrides if it does not follow General.

Do not remove an intentional closure just to make a test time appear. Confirm the business’s intended hours before saving a change. See weekly availability and blocked dates.

3. Check duration, capacity and existing bookings

In General, review Default Slot Duration and Slots Per Booking. Capacity means appointments sharing the same time. A longer appointment needs a suitable period within the available range; existing appointments can use the available capacity. A custom link can also have its own Appointment length.

If Google is connected, verify that expected commitments have imported and inspect the actual customer link. Do not assume a synchronization has completed because authorization exists.

4. Check the specific booking link

Open Booking Pages. The shared calendar follows Availability. A custom link can narrow those hours; it cannot open hours outside the calendar.

  • Review the custom link’s selected days and start/end times.
  • Check Minimum notice (hours) if a nearby time is missing.
  • Check Maximum days in advance if later dates are missing.
  • Review Buffer before, Buffer after and Max bookings / day.
Booking-link explanation that leaving all days off uses the whole calendar

Leaving all custom-link days off makes the link inherit the whole calendar; it does not disable reservations. Compare the exact link the customer received, especially when several links use the same calendar.

5. Verify the result or contact Support

After an intended change, save the appropriate settings and reopen the same booking link. Check the affected date and a nearby date. Do not treat an unsaved form or a blank space in Appointment Book as confirmation that customers can book.

If the time is still missing, send Support the calendar and location, the booking link, the expected date/time with time zone, and screenshots of the relevant hours and limits. Hide contact details and unrelated appointments. Explain which time you expected and what the customer actually sees.
