Disabling Auto-Pay

Disabling Auto-Pay

Stop recurring phone-service invoice payments, keep track of outstanding balances and check separate AI and message-credit settings.

Before you turn it off

Disabling Auto-Pay stops the recurring invoice-payment setting you select. Your service remains active under its existing terms, your saved method stays on file, and outstanding invoices still need to be paid.

This is not an account cancellation or a request to cancel an invoice. Contact Zonitel if you want to end or change your service.

Stop recurring billing

  1. Choose the correct location in Office.
  2. Open Settings → Billing → Payment methods.
  3. Find the method currently used for recurring billing and open Actions.
  4. Select Stop Recurrent Billing.
  5. Review the method’s status to confirm that it is no longer marked for recurring billing. If the result is unclear, contact support.

What still needs attention

  • Check Balance Due, Outstanding Invoices and each invoice’s due date.
  • Arrange manual payment using Making Manual Payments.
  • If a payment was already initiated, check its status before making another payment. Turning off a setting is not proof that an in-progress charge was cancelled.
  • For multiple locations, check the recurring settings in each location.

Late fees and possible suspension remain subject to your account’s terms, including any applicable grace period.

Check other automatic charges separately

AI plans and Pay as you go are managed in Settings → AI Wallet. Group-message top-ups are managed through Auto Purchase Config in Conversations → Group Messages. Review those controls if your intention is to change automatic spending there too.

See Understanding Your AI Wallet and Message Credits for Group Messages.

If you only want to replace a card

Add the new method and choose it for recurring billing. Confirm the new setting and that the old method is no longer the one used before removing it. See Managing Payment Methods.

Turn Auto-Pay back on

Open the saved method’s Actions menu and select Use for Recurring Billing. Confirm its status, and separately check whether any outstanding invoice still needs payment. Full steps: How to Set Up and Manage Auto-Pay.
