Scheduled Reports and Alert Recipients
Notification settings decide who receives your call report, fax journal and automation alerts, and how often. This guide covers the recipients grid, setting each schedule, why automation alerts are realtime, and how to pick a frequency people will actually read.
What this screen controls
Notification settings decide who gets your scheduled reports and alerts, and how often. It is the difference between a report that lands in the right inbox every Monday and one nobody remembers to run.
Open it from the left sidebar: expand Settings and click Notifications Config.
Recipients
The Recipients table lists everyone who can receive notifications, with a column for each type:
- Call Report
- Fax Journal
- Automation Alerts
Tick a box to send that person that notification. Use Add recipient for someone not already listed.
Because it is a grid, different people can receive different things β the office manager gets the call report, whoever handles faxes gets the fax journal, and your technical contact gets automation alerts. Sending everything to everyone is the fastest way to have all of it ignored.
Report schedules
Below the recipients you enable each report and choose when it goes out.
Call Report
- Frequency β Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
- Time, and Day of week when weekly.
- Channels β Email.
Fax Journal
- Frequency β Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
- Time, and Day of month when monthly.
- Channels β Email.
Automation Alerts
These are realtime β there is no schedule, because an alert that waits for Monday is not an alert.
Click Save settings when you are done.
Choosing a schedule that gets read
- Weekly on Monday morning suits most businesses for the call report β it arrives when someone is planning the week.
- Daily is worth it only if someone acts on it daily. Otherwise it becomes noise and trains people to delete it.
- Monthly pairs naturally with your billing cycle, which makes reconciling easier.
- Send to a shared mailbox rather than one person, so the report keeps arriving when they are away.
