How to Block a Number
Block incoming calls and texts from a number, review the blocked list, remove a block and distinguish blocking from SMS unsubscribe requests.
Use Calls → Blocked Numbers to block incoming calls and text messages from a specific number. Review the selected location and the number carefully so you do not block a customer by mistake.
Block a number
- Open Calls → Blocked Numbers.
- Click Block number.
- Enter the number and check the country prefix shown in the form. If it does not match the number you need to block, ask Support for help with the correct format.
- Add an optional Description explaining the reason, without sensitive customer details.
- Review the number and click Block number in the dialog.
- Confirm it appears in the list. If an error appears, correct it and check the list before trying again.
Review or remove a block
Search by number or description. The list includes Number, Description, Times blocked, Date and Actions. Use the count as an activity indicator; it does not prove that a caller is fraudulent or that an unused block should be removed.
To unblock, find the exact entry and use its removal option under Actions. Review any confirmation, then verify the entry is gone. If needed, arrange an incoming test with that person. Removing a block allows future contact; it does not recover messages or calls previously blocked.
Blocking and SMS unsubscribe requests are different
This list controls incoming contact. A customer who asks you to stop sending messages must be handled through your unsubscribe process. Removing an incoming block does not give permission to resume sending them marketing messages. See Managing Your Opted-Out (Unsubscribed) List.
If unwanted contact continues
Check the number shown on the new call or message and the current location. A caller may use a different number; blocking one entry does not stop every source of spam. Send Support a recent example with its date, time zone, source and destination if the exact blocked number still reaches you.
