How to Set Up Google Drive Auto-Upload in Zonitel
Zonitel lets you connect your Google Drive account and automatically upload important files such as Fax PDFs, Call Recordings, and Voicemails.
This helps your team keep files organized, backed up, and easier to access when needed.
What can be uploaded to Google Drive?
Once Google Drive is connected, you can choose which file types Zonitel should upload automatically:
-
Fax PDFs — received and sent fax documents
-
Call Recordings — recorded call audio files
-
Voicemails — voicemail audio files
Files are organized automatically inside Google Drive by folder type and date:
Zonitel / {type} / {year} / {month} / {day}

Step 3: Review the Google access request
After signing in, Google may show a screen that says “Zonitel wants access to your Google Account.”
-
Confirm that the correct Google account is displayed.
-
Review the information shown by Google.
-
If Google shows a message like “Zonitel already has some access,” this means the account has previously connected with Zonitel or another Zonitel service.

Important: If you click Cancel, Google Drive will not be connected and Zonitel will not be able to upload files to your Drive.
Step 4: Allow the required Google Drive permissions
Google may ask you to allow permissions for Drive sync.
If Google shows permission checkboxes, make sure the required Drive access options are selected before continuing. These permissions allow Zonitel to create folders and upload selected files to your connected Google Drive.
Click Continue or Allow to complete the Google authorization process.
Important: If the required permissions are not allowed, Zonitel will not be able to upload Fax PDFs, Call Recordings, or Voicemails to Google Drive.
Step 5: Choose what to upload to Google Drive
