Test and Improve Your Conversational Agent Answers
Use the test panel to check your assistant’s replies. When an answer needs correction, Improve lets you edit a question and answer to help the bot respond to similar questions in the future.
Check the setup first
Open AI → Conversational Agents, then edit the assistant. Review its knowledge sources under What it knows and its business information under Business & rules. An incorrect source should be corrected as well as the individual answer.
Test, correct and check again
- In Test your Bot, ask a question the way a customer would. Start with a factual question, such as business hours or a service you offer.
- Read the entire response. Check the facts, language, tone and any contact information it provides.
- Click Improve below an answer that needs a correction. In Edit Bot Response, review Question and write the correct Answer using information your business has confirmed.
- Click Train Bot when the correction is ready. This submits a training change; simply opening or editing the dialog does not complete that step.
- Ask the question again and try a different wording. Use Reset chat when you want to check a fresh conversation without the earlier exchange.
Training helps guide future answers. It does not guarantee that every reply will repeat the saved text exactly. Also test what happens when the assistant does not know an answer.
Review before customers use it
Open How it works to read the setup in plain language. This section includes changes that may not have been saved yet. Return to an editable section and use Save changes for configuration changes you want to keep.
Check Where it replies, When it replies, enabled tools and appointment actions before a live test. Sending a test question is different from testing an action that sends a message or changes an appointment.
